Baby has arrived
At 2AM on Monday 10 Aug I rushed my wife to the hospital as she
was sure baby was on the way. But after we got there, all action seemed to have stopped.
But they wanted to keep Jo in overnight, to be on the safe side, and said they would call me if anything happened.
And something did happen!
I got a call at 10am saying that they’d taken her to the labor ward and I should get there asap!
Well, to cut a long story short, at 15.30 my wife gave birth to a 7 pound, healthy , beautiful baby…BOY!
Yes! The scans were right. It was a boy afterall.
Mother and baby are now at home and both doing fine.
And here’s a picture of our new son:
And the name we chose was…Nicholas!

He is beautiful and is a very lucky boy to have such wonderful parents. He will become a great man one day. May he bring you happiness and joy. I had a baby at the age of 41 and she is the best present I ever got. You seem to have a special bond with the last little one. Silke is 25years old now and I wish she was still a baby. Praise God! You have a gorgeous baby boy. He reminds me of Samuel who was given to the Lord at an early age as promised by his mother.
May this child grow in the fear of the Lord because it is the beginning
of wisdom.
